From wheelwrights to the race track.
For generations, Gasser has built sleds in Tyrol. Experience, carefully chosen materials and a close connection to sport shape every sled that leaves our workshop.
What began as traditional wheelwrighting grew into a Tyrolean master workshop for touring, sport and racing sleds.
Four milestones in our history
1909
Johann Isser establishes the wheelwright's workshop in Matrei am Brenner.
1935
Rupert Gasser takes over and continues the craft.
1969
Sled production moves to its current location.
Today
Original Gasser sleds are still made in the Tyrolean master workshop.
